"Membership" and "What Must I Do To Be Saved"... ...There is ONLY one way to bring about salvation through Jesus Christ unto God, that is becoming a Christian at the same time becoming a member of the Church of Christ. Jesus Christ, the establisher, builder, and owner.

 

We believe there are false doctrines in our society today, speaking and teaching contrary to the Word of God, and/or some who simply don’t understand thru self ignorance and/or unwise and immature leaders. Jesus Christ, through the Gospel, established one church that He will return for. Matthew 16:18 …I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 17:5 …This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

 

The following will help you with access and understanding of being saved, becoming a Christian, and being a member of (added to) the Church (body) of Christ.

 

 

JESUS CHRIST

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

 

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Find a local Church of Christ or Church of Christ Member (Christian), and he shall use the Word of God as “a lamp unto your feet, and a light unto your path.”

 

 

HEAR

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

 

 

BELIEVE

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

 

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

 

 

REPENT

Luke 13:3-5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

 

 

CONFESS

Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

 

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

 

 

BE BAPTIZED

We believe that Christian baptism is the total immersion in water of a believer who has repented of sin and confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior.

It is an expression of faith, an act of submission to the authority of Christ and is an identification with Christ. It is the answer of a good conscience toward God.

 

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

 

John 3:3-5 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

 

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

 

1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

LIFESTYLE

The Church of Christ lifestyle is a faithful, holy, and righteous lifestyle.

 

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

 

Colossians 3:1-6 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:  For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

 

2 Peter 1:5-7 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

 

Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

 

 

REWARD

By one being added to the Church of Christ, he inherit the things that God promise through his Son, Jesus Christ.

 

John 14:1-4 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

 

2 Peter1:8-11 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

 

Stop guessing what the problem is with the world… we all have contributed… the problem is simply… SIN.
